"Happy Mail!"--Inspiration For The "Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero" September Die Cut Challenge!

Hello!

It's really satisfying to use up scraps and/or extra diecuts you have laying around to make a quick 'n easy card (well maybe not quick in this case...)  The full YT tutorial is linked below, as well as the supplies I used in case you are interested (AFIL- Thank you for your support because I buy my own supplies!:)  

Here is my project featuring the Hero Arts Mailbox Fancy Die.

It's kind of early for me to think about snow (it's about 90 degrees right now!)  I'm also not a huge fan of more than a window-dressing flutter on Christmas Day, but it's fun to mix supplies to get that look!  I will also link a previously popular tutorial discussing ways to add snow!

DCD's 2022 Ohio Stamp Junkie "Background Bowl" Challenge! (and Giveaways!)

 Hello!

The Ohio Stamp Junkies recently met for a "mega-meet-up" and it was one none of us will ever forget!  There were tons of prizes, snacks, make'n takes, snacks, contests, lunch, chatting, laughing and more snacks all while "a river ran through it!"  It didn't just rain...it poured and rained sideways getting a lot of stuff dampened, but not our crafty spirits!

I had to dry out everything in my swag bag (which was packed with wonderful supplies donated by many of our favorite shops.)  My patterned paper pack sat under my Gemini Jr. for weeks, but it's still not quite flat:(

But I digress... I asked for brave souls willing to take a random background that may not have been finished or even pretty and make art with it.  They knocked it out of the park again, like I knew they would!  I had a participant drawing for a gift card from Pear Blossom Press (Winner Claire Lamb!) and am having an additional drawing from the YouTube comments for a fun prize package (USA) or a gift certificate (if non-USA.)
